OPA Aguilas

Communication: This season naturally creates a great deal of activities, performances field trips and volunteer opportunities. Make sure that you have access or are receiving your student's weekly communication from OPA teachers and that your contact information in Aspire is correct and updated.
Every teacher at OPA is required to communicate events, expectations and opportunities for the week. It is essential that the parent-teacher partnership works to grow our kids. Communication is the key to student success with parent involvement. Parents don't have to be in the building everyday to support their student; however, being able to celebrate the day, talk about new learning and build excitement for upcoming events helps us build lifetime learners.

OPAPO Volunteer of the Month: OPAPO is pleased to name Shannon Wilkinson as our November Volunteer of the Month! Shannon has been a regular volunteer ever since her kids started attending OPA. She has done it all: field trips, athletic events, classroom helper and more. She is always willing to help and she truly lives by the saying, “Those who can, do. Those who can do more, volunteer.” We are elated that Shannon is part of are OPA community.
